Change Comes to Junior Church
We are excited to be heading into a brand new school year with your
child. We are also heading into a new year at the Beacon Baptist Church.
Once again, we are making improvements to our Junior Church program to
better assist your child in learning the Word of God.
The Lord has blessed us with new teachers. The Merritts and Heishmans are excited to have the opportunity to
teach the children. It is exciting for the staff of the Beacon Baptist
Church to get to know your children. We love these children and look forward
to seeing what the Lord has in store for their future.
We are looking forward to a new name and atmosphere in Junior Church. The
children will be invited to attend Bible Blast (formerly Jr. Church) after
Sunday School each Sunday. Bible Blast will start at 10:50, which is
immediately after Sunday School. Each teacher will have an exciting game
that will allow the children to interact with each other. This will go until
the Church service begins at 11:00 where the children will be invited into
the classroom for Bible Blast. Here the children will not just be taught a
lesson but invited to join as we read and often act out the Bible stories.
