The Dexter Family

    The Dexter’s came to Beacon in September of 2003. Pastor Scott Dexter was saved as a child in Pontiac, Michigan under the preaching of Dr. Tom Malone. He is a Naval Veteran, serving six years. His wife Cathy was saved as a teenager in Charlotte, Michigan. They both surrendered to the ministry in 1994. Pastor Dexter graduated from Massillon Baptist College in 1998 with a Bachelors of Divinity. Mrs. Dexter graduated from Western Michigan University in 1989 with a Bachelors of Education. They have three children. Pastor Dexter is the Senior Pastor at Beacon Baptist Church, and Cathy works in children’s and ladies ministries. It is their hope to be used of God in the building of a glorious church for our Lord Jesus Christ.
